My professional life has encompassed a variety of roles including consultant, leadership coach, pastor, educator and various leadership roles in healthcare. Regardless of my role, I have always understood my primary task as helping others to succeed.
I have enjoyed every role and I particularly enjoy teaching, public speaking and helping leaders with creative problem solving. One of the creative challenges that have shaped my life is my mission to appropriately combine both the head (critical thinking and intellectual rigor) and the heart (emotional intelligence and compassion). I believe that when these two capacities are integrated appropriately, they produce the best leadership, decision-making, and quality of life.
